We currently only have two way to make eggs, chickens, and egg laying wooly pig things.
This seemed fine at first glance, but we did some crude math.
A blaze cake takes 1 egg, and superheats a blaze for 50 seconds ( one egg every 0.83 minutes. )
A chicken lays an egg every 5-10 minutes. averaging out to one egg every 7.5 minutes, or 1/0.13 minutes.
This means to fuel one blaze burner to constant superheating, you need 6.38 chickens.
to get a level 18 steam engine, you need 9 superheated blaze burners. this totals out to 57.42 chickens.
While a level 18 steam engine is an absurd amount of power, for those who want to do it, it's not a very realistic option. 57.42 chickens is just too many.
Something that uses... even just the conjuration catalyst from botania to turn 1 egg into 2, would be nice. Midnight dipping usually makes darker, more death related items, so eggs would be odd, but midnight dipping or maybe bulk haunting Create dough into eggs would be a unique and cute way of making eggs in larger quantities.

well, you can just make a second engine the same way and use lava you get from dripstone/ an pump in the end, but yes, especially if you want to fuel your MI boilers with blaze cakes

It might be possible to modify the config for the Supplimentaries cages to make chickens or other creatures drop eggs at a faster rate
