#Too much ping (Official AoF5 NA server)

Me and my friend have been playing on the official AoF5 NA server for about a day and a half now, and haven't run into any lag or problems up until now. Both of us have very high ping out of nowhere, and it takes us alot longer to join than normal, for about 3 minutes each time we rejoin we're falling into an infinite void until it eventually loads the terrain, the ping only seems to go back down for a little bit if we aren't moving or doing anything at all.
An internet speed test tells me I have very good internet, and me and my friend have no internet issues anywhere else.

I used to get this issue and never figured it out. Thought at one point it might be related to my internet service route to the server.

it seems to have fixed itself over time.
