I wanted to give the Kazali some juicy Minion choices without any particular combination that was too obvious, but also leave the storyteller some options for non-Kazali games. The combination of Lycanthrope, Innkeeper, Marionette, Vigormortis, Lunatic, and Librarian has possibilities for mass confusion even without drunkenness or poisoning (though there is plenty of both available elsewhere). You can always expect to see either 1 or 0 deaths in the night, and anywhere from 0 to 8 drunk/poisoned players per day (if the Evil team plays well). The possibility of either Poppy Grower or Lunatic Kazali could convince Good players to bluff as Evil, which is always fun.
EDIT: Made a few changes:
Mathematician is out, Dreamer is in - A better Marionette, and a better Evil Townsfolk for the Bounty Hunter, potentially more powerful than Mathematician, and Goon-able
Puzzlemaster is out, Goon is in - Makes the Lunatic / Kazali / Poppy Grower combo even more ridiculous
Seamstress is out, Engineer is in - Makes the Lunatic / Kazali / Poppy Grower / Goon combo more believable to balance out the ridiculousness
Plague Doctor is out, Hatter is in - Allows for a way out for the Evil team in the event of an Engineer change (the Hatter and Marionette pair are potentially going to be Jinxed in the future, which will have to be retroactively applied)
