SpicyTrouble Brewing! A script I am planning on using at a Masquerade party I am hosting at Halloween! The players are still relatively new, so I wanted to give them a taste of how fun BotC can truly be. So, there are some TB characters they will recognise in here, along with a whole new selection! Let the masquerade begin!

For reference, this script will be played at very high player counts, such as 16. The idea was to create a dilemma, in which everyone has a powerful ability, leading to most characters not wanting to be killed. But having the chaotic situations that get the player's blood pumping!

psychopath Psychopath is intended to replace goblin Goblin. However, this party is going to have a gunslinger Gunslinger- and I ofc do not need to explain why that is a very poor combination!

Please feel free to suggest on tweaks and improvements.
All I am looking for is a script that still has core characters they recognise, but is also balanced while being chaotic.

I don't think I'd call this spicy TB - there are a LOT of new mechanics and interactions being added, especially amnesiac, evil townsfolk and harpy madness, not to mention vortox and organ grinder on top of everything. Goblin and Fearmonger also both require you to explain what a jinx is, with plague doctor

My guess is that this script is very strongly tilted towards good. Evil doesn't have any way to cause misinformation except for vortox, but good has all of the TB info roles that were designed around the risk of the recluse/spy/poisoner, and then some. Evil will be forced to rely on gimmicks like organ grinder + goblin, which won't be intuitive to new players

I would start by replacing Harpy with Poisoner, Organ Grinder with something else (godfather? Also worth noting that there's no outsider manipulation here), and huntsman/Damsel with something else (those roles will be very stressful for new players, and also aren't particularly "chaotic")

First of all, not in order. Secondly, there is no outsider manipulation (outside of huntsman, which would hurt the good team) or poison on this script, try to add it. Finally, a lot of those minions have sticky interaction with Plague Doctor. I’d replace Fearmonger and Goblin with Poisoner and an SnV minion.
