Maybe it's just a problem in my timezone, and there ARE workarounds (use the ST ping, wait 5 mins, then ST) (coST with someone else), but given that there is a queue anyway, I really think the cooldown could drop to 20 hours. If someone is able to take full advantage of that, then... there's not much demand for STs at the hours they are playing anyway. And if there is a lot of demand during your timeslot, then the queue should balance that out anyway.

I will say though that the counter-point is that during high demand ST times, the same 5 or so STs could consistently be in the queue each day, and by the time they are done, that 6th ST is unavail and neve rgets to ST. However... if they never ST, they can join the queue sooner, and make sure that slot in where they will be able to run the game
I am not sure how much I support the counter-argument that I about to present, but I want to bring it up just to consider the idea:
Keeping it at around 40 is more healthy for you as a Storyteller, as you could accidentally burn yourself out otherwise
If you drop it any lower than what it is currently you'll probably get the issue we were having around this time last year, where the queue was 6 deep and it was a shit fight to get on the queue. People will ST every day if given the chance to
