Hey there! This was my final project of this year for my creative writing class. It is based on the story of the Videogame "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild". In this sort of "Fan-Fiction", I let my main character Ava explore Hyrule and learn about all their secrets. I am open to any kind of critique. I like the way it starts off, and the diary format. It actually feels like its being told from her diary. I also liked the descriptions of mom+dad, i think the word choice there was really strong. I understand that this is based off of a video game so the character might not be completely made up by you, but if you were to try write something else entirely made up by you, I suggest looking for ways to characterize your main character for the audience, for example, I would suggest adding more context or insight to how Ava leaving her village she's known her whole life might be very scary for her, although she's excited. I think characterizing her in more complex ways like that for your audience will make them feel more connected to your main character
