You need to "treat" your room. Ideally you want to create a framework around you and your mic and drape some sound dampening fabric around everything. If your computer has a fan you'll want to leave it outside of the space while you record or otherwise have to edit that out in post-production.
If you can't/don't want to move away from the wall, angle your microphone towards the corner and try to keep some space between whatever soft material you're using to dampen ambient noise and your walls.
Sounds bounce off of hard materials but get absorbed by softer materials, and if there is air between a soft material and a hard one (like a wall) it'll be even more effective.

If you're really trying to do this without spending any money, find someone to lend you a beach umbrella and wrap a couple duvets around it so you and your microphone are draped. It's a good way to start at least figuring out your sound floor and what resources you might need moving forward.

That's pretty good! I'd honestly recommend putting a pillow between the mic and the laptop too. You will want to drape something overhead as well since sound travels in all directions.

You can sometimes find clothing racks or room dividers for free on CL or the like; anything that has a shape to it that you can use to basically build a blanket fort is useful.

#

Also, use quilted or puffy blankets whenever possible. The flatter the fabric, the less sound they absorb.

I would suggest acoustic foam they could be really cheap but they're different ways to put it up and good on the pop filter but to go really cheapest for more padding so your voice doesn't travel much just go under a HEAVY blanket...it's going to be a pain in the ass but it can be worth it
