Would you mind sending a sample of your own speaking voice for comparison? Most actors who play roles with deeper voices already have them.

#

Others are simply older and use that added thickness to the vocal folds to their advantage.

And you said you wanted to sound like Madara. Do you mean Neil Kaplan (English) or Naoya Uchida (Japanese), or another specific voice?

#

In any case, the recording you provided was pretty muddy, but it sounds like you have a decently low voice already. Is there something more specific that you want to try and emulate or develop?

That answers my question very well.

#

How well can you control your vocal fry?

That will be a good place to start if you want to develop a raspier sound. Neil Kaplan is an older man and has a lot of control over his vocal fry, allowing for an almost seamless transition from his chest voice to his fry. A good microphone helps, too.

Start singing at a comfortable pitch, then slide down as steadily as you can. Try to sustain a full tone as long as you can. When you can't, reduce the amount of air you're expelling until you're just barely making any noise. Try to keep your fry as steady as possible, and don't push.
