#Shipping pad material transfer rates and data

Added, expected continuous output, rather than actual belt speed during output time.
ok, so for all the ones in the <= 2kg range, they basically get full belt speed based on the premise of 1/2 min fill rate keeping them going at belt speeds .... so that would still make the small pad with 2 output belts, compared to the medium pad with 4 output belts, more efficient for real estate usage on small items, presuming they can both be maintained at full belt speeds on the low weight items
yeah. once you know the rates you can work out what works best for you
hmm... actually i might need to redo this one... damnit
the expected output is wrong for all the ones belt capped.
anyway, good start. i'll revise it once i'm settle on the numbers. best keep this chat mostly clean
lol
Just some Hard numbers about Olumite Barrel Fillers,
Pads delivering Olumite Barrels,
1 medium pad. ~11.2 kL,
3 small pads. ~8.5 kL,
2 medium pad. ~23.4 kL,
6 small pads, ~16.8 kL
basically always use medium pads for olumite. - unless specific builds need less
I didn't like having to search my own posts to find this, so here it goes. And doing the math for barrels to liquid continuous is rough anyway.
#general message
Olumite barrels, just using straight barrel/min counting average over 10minutes. Took the minimum of a handful of cycles. It looks like there's a ±1 type but the liquid rate i took the minimum i'm seeing multiple times. Should be the L equivalent or higher.
for just reference, 237 is the max build height for the medium shipping pad, the height the belt is fed in belt (or standing height). You can technically have the small shipping pad higher, but imo there's no real point. You can fit 3 small shipping pads within 1 medium pad's footprint.
Using the same number math for Drones/Bots/Robots
Did you ever figure this out?
It's also kind of annoying you did all the tests at max level, no love for the ground? I can't tell what the ground throughput is likely to be if there's no comparison (like at 128, water level). Personally I only care about F. Bars, if you have any idea for those.
It would vary depending on how you set the ships and their thresholds. The table uses full 0 threshold but you can get more by setting the threshold higher for those types of item types.
I didnt do a ground/water level check... should do that.. might be a good break excuse. I did do olumite barrels, but theres so much wiggle room in the throughout of 1 barrel, its not too helpful for normal items..
poke to keep from vanishing. if anybody want to get rate per elevation it would help finalize this list. i'll try to get to it eventually but no eta yet.
It would probably help if you said how you got the numbers in the first place. And honestly, I don't fully understand the numbers on the chart myself just looking at it, so that probably doesn't help either
