I am unable to use voice chat in Garry's Mod. Despite my microphone working perfectly in all other applications and Windows settings, it is not picked up by the game at all.
What I have already attempted:
Complete Reinstall: Uninstalled Gmod, deleted the remaining folders, and performed a fresh installation.
Beta Opt-out: I have opted out of all Garry's Mod beta branches (running the stable version).
Steam Client: Opted out of the Steam Client Beta to ensure it wasn't a platform-side bug.
Hardware Verification: Verified that the correct microphone is set as the "Default Communication Device" in Windows Sound Settings.
In-Game Settings: Checked that voice_enable is set to 1 and voice_loopback shows no input.
