Never use the Carve button. It should be removed from all Hammers.

As an option, calculate an arch that will be wider than a cylinder with the same number of edges. And then manually move the outer perimeter in vertex mode to a square shape. What this idiotic button does makes the compiler go into hysterics and create hundreds of extra sheets. This is not right.
