Hey, I have this error on practically every source game (including gmod) that when I try to like click a button on let's say, the menu, it sometimes lag and repeat the audio for a second, the same when let's say someone will spawn an enemy or an npc, whatever, it does it too. I mean, I can live with this but sometimes it gets very annoying, and I don't really know if it's something with the game, or if it's just always like that, so please if you know how to get rid of this and you could help me, i would really appreciate it

Do you have the game installed on an SSD or an older HDD? Similar hitches can happen if you have it installed on an HDD and it loads new content like sounds, textures, etc.
If it happens on all Source games then it's not specifically a Gmod issue, not much we can suggest in that case
