I think if you’re doing start/end animations, they’d need to be processed with lua scripting. No idea if that’s accomplishable with sequencing alone.

And you're trying to do this with move_x/y pose parameters?

Seems like it'd be easier modifying the drawn angle of the player model

An especially advanced implementation would use left/right turning as a delta

Just seems like the wrong way to go about that, chief. It's correctly fading all of the directions on start/stop but that doesn't mean it'll fade the different directions
