I was wondering but has anyone experience some maps looking "too bright"? Not sure what causes this lil overblown saturation of Brightness.

not sure what may cause this problem since it seems to over saturate some maps and ruin the atmopshere

Here's an example

it's the Infinity Ikea map, while it wouldn't bother me too much but it also seems to affect some Models and Ragdolls so it'd be nice to find a "fix" or dimmish the excessive amount of light

You could try disabling bloom pp_bloom 0 in console.

Try going to your gmod graphics settings and disabling HDR if it’s on. Also make sure bloom is off there as well. If that doesn’t solve your issue it could be an addon that you’re subscribed to.
