how do i uninstall and reinstall hammer? i cant even open it anymore and when i could i couldnt run

same as the game itself, validate game files through Steam and it will restore any modified/deleted Hammer files

doesnt launch because i changed the settings in hammer and then i tried changing it in the gameconfig.txt and i probably messed that up too

ok i can open it now but im getting the error i used to get that says the file " was not built

id guess its a directory problem but i dont remember what the original settings for the directory were

that's the settings from gameconfig.txt, deleting it should make Hammer re-generate it with correct paths

i think it means you have it installed in a weird location maybe?

thats strange ididnt install it without gmod so i didnt change it , but i did change where the maps were saved
