It doesn’t look like there are any meshes in your blender project file.

But once you have a weapon mesh: keep the skeleton intact. You only need your weapon if your intend to export a c_viewmodel

If you’re trying to edit an existing v_model, it’s as simple as selecting your mesh object, tabbing into edit mode, and deleting the arm mesh. The skeleton will stay.

Yeah, start with a fresh blender file and import your smd

You can set blender to start up without them btw

File (top left) > something towards the bottom of the menu > Save start-up file

You’re trying to open an SMD animation- this doesn’t contain any meshes

Open the reference or idle smd. It’ll be the $body, $bodygroup or $model in your qc
