I have an addon I would assume that changes my HL2 gun sounds to something different and I've looked everywhere. Is it possible to change the sound back to normal via files, or is that not possible?

Uninstall the addon?

could also of been picked up from a server, clean garrysmod/garrysmod/download(s)

Uh theres a way to find it via console, either whereis or find i think? Then search via sound pathname

Use whereis

If it shows as the original path try just the (sound.wav) e.g whereis smg1_fire1.wav
