A sadly underrated but awesome and cute anime I like involving Magic Robots.
Unbreakable Machine Doll is about a world where sentient robots with magic abilities powered by Mana from a Human Handler, or Puppeteer, live with their partners.
The main character is a very cute humanlike Machine Doll named Yaya who is currently under the ownership of a guy named Raishin, although she acts more like his crazy girlfriend than his robot companion. The two go to an academy and participate in a robot fighting competition, in the hopes of stopping his rival, Magnus.
Although at first it is them getting ready for the competition, it gets into several other plots, like one where he has to hunt down a serial killer, or one where he learns about a laboratory conducting illegal experiments on robots and their owners.
Super awesome! Would recommend.
