An anime that is utterly filled to the brim with absurdist humor. If you liked stuff like BoBoBo-Bo-BoBoBo, but in a setting of a school full of gangster students, this might be for you.
Cromartie High School tells the tale of a guy named Kamiyama who transfers to a new school called Cromartie High, known for having very unruly delinquent students there. Not only are they a rough bunch, but some of them are very crazy and in some cases, bizarre.
Some of the other students he meets there include a swole mute guy with a mustache whom is called "Freddy," a cylindrical Robot named "Mechazawa" who believes that he is human, and even a Donkey Kong-esque Gorilla! Kamiyama has all sorts of crazy adventures with them all, as well as has things like getting into fights with rival school members and other stuff.
The anime is random and crazy as all get out. A must-see for people who like this sort of humor.
