Another cuteness anime I watched. I found it odd at first but it gets better.
Basically Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai is about this cutie schoolgirl named Rikka. The series takes place in a more grounded in reality setting where magic and supernatural stuff does not happen, but Rikka ACTS LIKE it does.
Like she wears an eyepatch saying that her one eye is cursed, carries an umbrella saying it’s a magic weapon, and other things.
Many of her classmates who don’t know her find her weird, others whom she is friends with just play along with it and also act like they have superpowers and stuff.
It was bizzare at first until you find out the reason why Rikka acts this way. Also she and her classmates end up doing some really cool moves like this one slide kick scene and some of the fantasy battles played out in their mind. It’s very adorable though.
