The promised neverland is not your typical high-octane intense battle and action anime series and that alone sets it apart from most shonen series. The mysteries surrounding the world of the promised neverland and the twists that the characters discover on their own is absolutely thrilling to watch. This is arguably one of, if not, the biggest appeal of the series as a whole. Discovering every little piece of truth behind every closed door is a constant thrill.

I haven't watched the anime, but I have read the manga. It's my favorite manga. So cool, so interesting, so peak. Good ending, but there is also tragedy. The world is turned upside down, judging by the human hierarchy set in The promised neverland.
As far as for the anime goes, it's one of those where everyone recommends the watcher to read the manga. I, personally, haven't watched it, but I have seen some clips. Apparently, the first season follows the manga and is really good, but the second season just goes off the rails and isn't worth watching.
I also find the story to be similar to this book: Never let me go, buy Kazuo Ishiguro; so if there are any book lovers out there that are interesting in this kind of atmosphere, I recommend you to read The promised neverland.
Great suggestion.
ive only seen season 1. ive heard season 2 was buns.
