Airing this season, this anime really captures the essence of ice figure skating. The story follows the coach and his student. They connect over the fact that both of them started late in a sports where others have been training since age 2-3.
And with that also comes the anxiety which, so far, I believe Medalist has portrayed better than any anime I've seen before. Shaking hands, forgetting steps, beating heart - to name a few. But the moment you step on the ice, there's only one thing to do - and hence the anxiety turns into fun.
