To anyone who hasn't seen this, just know that once you're into this, you are there for the long run. This isn't just a mecha anime. This is a journey. You WILL be confused. You WILL completely stop understanding the plot VERY quickly.

And that is exactly how it should be. It's difficult to explain in words, but Evangelion is NOT like anything you've seen. With how convoluted it gets, I'd liken it the the Drakengard/Nier universe.

Do yourself a favor. Watch Evangelion (ALL OF IT) (Actually, skip death2. Its just a recap), come back here and talk about it so you can question your sanity, give it a day or two, then watch a YouTube video EXPLAINING WTF just happened (I'd recommend Sock Sensei's 'Making Sense of Evangelion' and 'Making Sense of REBUILD Evangelion'. BUT WATCH THE SERIES FIRST!
