Unless you're a super intelligent detective or someone oblivious to all the clues (such as me), I think you'd be surprised by who the villain truly is. Also, the stakes are higher than ever, as the movie explores themes of loyalty, friendship and sacrifice. The narrative delves into the emotional journeys of its key characters, I would say it was particularly focusing on Miwako Sato and Wataru Takagi's relationship. It's not completely romance but there's definitely development. Long-time fans will appreciate how this film deepens character arcs, especially those of Sato, Takagi, and Rei Furuya (Amuro Tooru). It reveals touching backstories, motivations, and connections that enhance the emotional weight of the story.
