from the mind of makato shinkai, the man behind "your name." and "weathering with you", comes "suzume": a film which deviates from his normal romance formula about a young girl's fateful encounter with a mysterious man and a lone door, which upon opening, acts as a catalyst for a series of disasters that only she can prevent from happening.
if you enjoyed the artstyle, beauty, and storytelling of "your name." and "weathering with you", i highly recommend giving this a watch. while it falls a little short of the bar that was set by the previosuly mentioned films, this one is still a masterpiece (in my opinion).
