Like I said I can't update please help me I have tried to do everything but I cannot do anything to make it update I've tried to go into the game and I've done all kinds of different things but I can't

I tried going into steam under downloads and seeing if the it was all correct files (verified them), i checked the updates for steam, and I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Idk I turned off my Microsoft defender and firewall completely

I even allowed some of the things that it had caught

I just don't know how to update

I am not sure what you mean by getting a screenshot because the problem is it's not updating the new patch

For instance in the properties of the game on steam. What does it show there? I've attached some examples from my pc.

This should show which build you're currently on.

The second screenshot needs to make sure it shows the Default Public Version as the active version. In case you were a part of a Beta weekend it could still be set to a beta version for instance.

I'm just spitballing here, as I'm not sure what @steady goblet is looking for, but these could already help perhaps.

How do you actually know you're on the wrong version/can't update?
