#Migrate command tries to migrate something that isn't mine

Hi! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป I'm upgrading my self-hosted environment on DigitalOcean to 1.4.13 by using the docker exec appwrite migrate command. It failed and one of the following errors appears:

Error migrating domain premiercups.com

The thing is, I have literally never heard of this domain. ๐Ÿค” It isn't mine and I have nothing to do with it. Does anyone have an idea how this can end up in my logs? Is it something that is hardcoded in the Appwrite migration script?

#

Vistiting the above domain shows an Appwrite console. It's very strange...

#

This gets even stranger.

#

When I power down my droplet then the console on that domain is down.

#

I'm starting to think that someone linked my droplet to their domain.

#

But how is it even possible... I'm flabbergasted.

#

Yes, their DNS record shows the IP of my droplet.

#

I don't understand anything of this. ๐Ÿ™ƒ Why would someone point their DNS record of a random domain to my droplet? What would someone gain from it? ๐Ÿค”

Hmm... An explanation could be that the person who owns that domain had my IP before I got it. I have this IP for more than a year though and I migrated my Appwrite environment before without seeing this error message.

#

I'm running a web server on my droplet now and I left a message for the owners of the domain.

Either way, I'll lock this topic. ๐Ÿ˜Š I thought it was something related to Appwrite, but it turned out to be something completely different. ๐Ÿ˜Š
