Right now the system can be a bit frustrating, because of scenarios of getting consecutive fail with the rolls due to the constant chance, some run can end so early because of this
Could the slot machine be balanced towards maximum unlucky rolls instead?
Like the chance to get something gets higher the more failed roll you get, up to guarantee

Having your luck influence less amount of roll to get something
Would be less frustrating than RNG eating away all the bolts

Maybe 5 Rolls is the maximum, 20 bolts
You can get lucky and get cartridge/slow before that
And if you're unlucky, at least it doesn't take 50 Bolt, but 20

idk how much it should be though, 5-7 Rolls seems fitting

Good idea! I've changed the the slot machine station (the slot machine wagon also btw) to roughly do what you said.
