On a desperate path to retire early, Ophelia takes whatever jobs she can land. Just or unjust. In most instances, she ends up only a half step closer despite the great leaps she takes to finish the case. Caught somewhere between homeless and restaurant hopping, she settles down for the night in unsuspecting citizen’s vents. She’s particularly fond of vents near industrial plants, as the steam and smog warms the nominally piercing cold of metal.

Her Starch Intelligence is an original prototype she had installed for a few extra Crows. Now it serves as her one-sided companion. Maybe they crossed a few wrong wires while installing it. It comes in handy with logging information she’s uncovered and keeping her thoughts organized in exchange for a little sanity.

Originally, Cecilia Porter was a member of the Enforcers. As one of the best of the best, she was always one of the first on scene of a reported crime and was quick to spot clues and information that others might not have noticed at first. Cecilia was the type of person who always did the job and did it well. For her, life couldn't have been much better since she had a steady job with the Enforcers while living with her partner Sam as well.

That would soon change with a series of events. First, Cecilia began to become disgruntled with how the Enforcers started doing little more than investigating crimes and only arresting the perpetrator if they were in the area. More often than not, the perpetrators would go on committing their crimes while the Enforcers only did the bare minimum. Then one night, after arriving home, she was told by Sam that they had to leave. Sam refused to disclose why they had to leave or even if Cecilia would see them again.

The stress of having her partner disappear on her abruptly while the growing resentment she had for the Enforcers took a toll on her. Cecilia ended up resigning from the Enforcers and becoming a private investigator instead. Her goal was to solve the problems within the city that the Enforcers couldn't be bothered to do, whether it was finding a murder suspect, recovering information for a client, or recovering stolen items.

All while hopefully reuniting with Sam once again someday.
