Develop NPC film and maybe even “watch” tapes?

There’s some killers who have film canisters in their apartments and I thought it would be really cool if you could bring one of these to a pharmacy or general store, pay a few crows and get an image that helps with the case in some way. Maybe it could even just show the image when you check a film canister in an NPC’s place. I was thinking this on a sniper case who had a ton of film, maybe it could hint to her location or even count as evidence of being in the crime scene.

The other idea might be a bit too crazy to work in the current system of the game but what if we could take video tapes and watch them similar to how we watch surveillance. This could even open up the option of having killers steal the tape of them being at a crime scene. It may be a bit of a stretch though.

I would honestly rather say that the tapes should literally be the surveillance footage. Like, you can't just access the surveillance camera like that, you'd need the tape and insert it into the cruncher to see the surveillance footage, maybe?
This could be interesting, since then the tapes could be found in random places and you would have to figure out through the surveillance footage, where exactly the surveillance camera is positioned.
Also, for the surveillance on the streets, the tapes could just already be inserted, so you don't have to always find them somewhere. Furthermore, the tapes could be stored in the surveillance rooms.

I also really like the idea of being able to see tapes. Especially if the killer is a stalker and obsessed with someone, it would make sense that they would have pictures/tapes of them around. Going into someone's apt you have a theory of being the murderer, and then developing the tapes to see pictures of the victim could absolutely confirm that they are the murderer

And could also create a new mission type of finding and destroying compromising image tapes for people

watch tapes are something i have wanted for a while,there are film tapes,when i saw them my first time playing the game,i searched where to put them to play them,i was dissapointed after i saw they are useless
