#Ground floor apartment converted to bar

This city truly has it all with what I want from apartment listings. A fathoms basement, a fathoms 1st floor apartment and a ground floor apartment in a mixed use industrial building that's centrally located. And for this one, I decided to go with the ultimate dream of a noir detective's mancave: a bar. A really small one, making the most out of the available main room space. And a really sad and lonely one. Because this city has a bar on practically every corner, probably more bars in this city than Asian restaurants, even. But also because, as I break the fourth wall, there exists no gameplay mechanic that allows for NPCs to enter player-owned apartments, even when they're aggroed. So this truly is a bar for a detective who wants to be in a bar and drink but is also such a sad loner to the extent that they have to be their own bartender and chef.

Speaking of chef, every bar needs a kitchen, if only for it to be somewhere to put the fridge and the oversized coffee maker. And every bar also needs a public bathroom. If only I could add bathroom graffiti to up the authenticity of it.

And of course, there always needs to be a spare room to sleep in. Made no sense to put a full office set-up in here because this is practically next door to the city hall. And besides, this place much better fits the aesthetic of a place that's purely for R&R, even if this detective does come by here while on the job, drinking and ruminating.

Love this. Looks really cosy but perfectly encapsulates how lonely the world of Shadows is for the detective.
