#Metrics-Based Questions

I've seen this posted a few times in a few different iterations, typically around "We should be able to ask more questions/have more interrogation options." I can see how this could be tricky to implement. How many different lines of dialogue can a small team be expected to write?

However, I believe (based on vibes alone) that it might be easier to implement a system whereby you might be able to ask someone about particular metrics, such as are already logged by the game. (Someone's physical metrics (hair, eyes, blood type), where they live or work, how much they make, their interests).

Basically, anyone connected to the subject of the questioning could, based on RNG, know a thing or two about a person.

"What can you tell me about this person?" {Select pinned character from UI}

"I know he has red hair and lives in the Rivera building"
or
"I know he works at Cimex Chemical"
or
"I know he's partner with Julie Fields"

Alternatively, it would be nice to canvass about known metrics.

Example:

"Do you know anyone..." {Select metric from UI}

The game already tracks people's connections through address book entries and co-workers. It seems like the framework is already there?

It just seems like it should be a no-brainer that I ought to be able to ask someone's partner where their partner works, if said partner isn't feeling amenable to telling me themselves.

An organic way to implement this with already existing mechanics is, when you have a very empty suspect profile, just ask about it and get a response such as "yea, i know 6 citizens with red hair", maybe after that he could go on describing them, or giving names, whatever it is on his knowledge (and is eager to share).

this mechanic is already in the game, you dont get specifc dialog options but there is an rng chance for people to reveal little things like where they work, an intrest the person might have, whether or not they have a lover. i imagine there are more and i just havent seen them. this mechanic will likely be updated with the social credit system
