Adding graphical settings like being able to lower Shadow Quality and turning off effects like rain can help hugely with the unstable FPS, but most of the game relies on your CPU, because you will get insane amounts of FPS drops if you don't have a good CPU, but even if you do have a good CPU, the frame rate can still go very low in some cases, so the developers should try experimenting with lowering certain graphical settings. Graphics settings that should be considered adding is being able to lower the shadow map size, the texture quality to very low size, turning off reflections, being able to disable effects like Rain and maybe trying to make the lightning more easier on the GPU, but this will need to take some time. I hope the devs see this and take this into consideration, because this game is amazing but the game does become unplayable sometimes and I really don't wanna stop playing this game, but so far I can enjoy the game 30FPS at 720p low graphics

i go from well over 100fps at 4k to less than 0.5fps when it starts raining
until i use autotravel and step inside a building and then my framerate suddenly perfectly fixes itself
