They will attack by blowing up an apartment causing a bang that can be heard anywhere in the city with smoke coming out of the target's apartment window. A short time after the bang a unique version of the murder reported cut in will play showing the location for you and most of the the enforcers will move in immediately along with every floor of the tower going into lockdown for awhile and a voice over the city intercom telling people not to panic.

in the same vain it'd also be fun to investigate an arson
this suggestion also makes me want more dynamic murder reports, like having a police scanner go off with some audio instead of just a big pop up

This sounds great, I want more dramatic cases with a larger scale/ more serious feel. Could even add some of other people’s suggestions for city events. After the bombing, there’s a bunch more enforcers out in the streets, and they go around stopping and searching citizens, with a chance they can search you.
And a curfew where everyone needs to be in their homes by e.g. 9pm. So after a certain time the streets are empty apart from homeless and enforcers. Could add some excitement to investigating the case, having to avoid enforcers at night.
