#Strange Murders

poisoning is a murder type, though it does feel rarer.
true. still just ends up being look for finger prints, I think it would be interesting to have challenging murders. by trained killers, gloves - doing things to hide the identity of the victim. so it ends up with you needing to look through missing person reports before you can really get a decent idea of the killer.
I think methods like hanging, amputation or things like that can make the game more interesting. (It is not bad to add the spice of fear to the game)
yeah Id love to see really super rare things for the more stanic culty murders, like walking into a house to find someone in a really gruesome death, missing their head or something, now you have to find both the murderer and the who the victim is
That would work. I was freaking out about the freaky murders that npcs could do when I see them buying ropes and cameras. Imagine them taking photos of a hanged victim.
It would be really cool if sometimes the killer himself gave you the case. Like "Dead of the Night " (although I'm not sure who gave the Onni Johnson case to the player.)
It would be interesting to detain suspects, could allow for interesting come get me cases, where the murderer announces to you the day before they intend to murder where it will happen. maybe you stake the place out and see if you can catch them in the act, or maybe it happens and you see nothing, now you have a crime scene to investigate and a letter on the body declaring the next crime scene in 1 day or something. or maybe you catch them in the act, you detain them only to learn they have a partner, now you have to interrogate them to get the identity of their partner before their partner kills someone.
id also like crimes that create conspiracies in the dystopian world. Maybe you track down a murderer and find he isnt a resident in the town. hes an agent from the Starch Kola Company, once tracked down maybe the agent gives you a task to frame the murder on another target. you now have a hard choice do you stick to justice and turn them in and deprive the dystopian regime one of their agents (knowing full well that the agent would just be let go when the regime orders it) or do you take the deal, frame an innocent person but get much more social credit to make retiring that much quicker.
I just hope the developers check these ideas out for the upcoming updates.
same but it being such a small group making it, sadly I dont think we can or should expect too much crazy things.
Like beating up children.
I guess you're right but it'll get way better in the future. I'm sure of it.
This is the game that I've been looking for for a long time.

games that are ususally successful on the Early access front usually have their core gameplay working and solid. this absoluetly does so I think its fair to say it will survive and do well
Honestly a few variants of ingame poison would be interesting?
Poisoning is fairly hard to pin down irl without toxicology work; so perhaps the cause of death should be some physiological cause of death rather than "Poisoning"; something more along the lines of "Heart Attack", "Rapid Organ Failure", etc. Some interesting dynamic to add rather than the generic POISON bottles, as in reality poisoning is complicated and an old adage says "only the dose makes the poison."
