Physical Case Boards

Simple suggestion, let us place a decoration in our apartment that displays our case board physically on the wall with the string, sticky notes, evidence and pictures. Would be cool

This might be a controversial take, but I'd love to have the case board be bound to a physical location (your apartment, or maybe also a back room in city hall).

You'd still collect evidence in a notebook that you can access on the fly, but the only way to connect pieces of evidence and build profiles is by going home and laying out the day's info to find your next lead.

I could see that for a mod or optional difficulty setting, but the case board has such a different graphical style that I imagined it only exists in the detective’s head

Maybe make a case board decoration that mirrors your mobile case board that’s currently selected?

I like this idea, but given how laggy a big case board can be, I’d hate to see what it would do to the game if it existed in the world too 😬

I'd only want that if it was an option that could be turned on and off when generating a world

I mean one way to do it would be use a static image and have a update button/auto update every so often
