A new murder every day feels a bit too often for me, especially when I just arrested the previous killer and the next day a new one appears already. There's not much time to do side jobs or explore the city, and I assume there will be more stuff added for the player to do inbetween cases in the future. I realise that some people may prefer a more fast-paced game though, so it should be an option you can change. Maybe the time between murders by the same killer and between different killers should be separately configurable.

i like this idea but i also want to throw out there that an in-game day is 3 entire irl hours if you are't skipping time and are unpaused
3 hours sounds like a lot, but you're likely going to spend half of that time solving the murder, and the side jobs seem to be more difficult at least to me as a new player, since there's little info (and sometimes they're bugged apparently, but you won't realize until you spend a lot of time looking for a nonexistant/clipping briefcase or an NPC that never came to the place you're supposed to find them)
Plus I kind of hope they'll add the need to sleep sometimes, so that's a few more hours less in a day
there already is a sleep status so I don't know why it's not in, maybe so that players can explore freely the world without having to slow down too much
tho tbh you can just chug coffee and not sleep at all haha

90 minutes to solve a case sounds painful
you'll definitely speed up as you get used to it, still a good idea
It's actually an estimate, some cases are quite easy, others I save-scum until I find the right lead, hopefully I will get rid of that habit though... Plus I mess up a lot when trying to sneak around and also reload

it took me 40 hours of gameplay to stop using certain overpowered features
I am debating not using any weapons anymore, the police club makes everyone drop in 2 hits, which kinda eliminates any sense of danger
tbh there's no sense even if you don't, but i do recommend it
the rules i play by are uh
- No theft at all
- Sync disks through cases only
- No gov cruncher unless it's just for confirmation cuz i'm too lazy to walk when i already know the answer
- No brute forcing offices and etc just to fill out information
- Buy my own sync upgrade vials from vending machines
5 lets me keep a relatively low balance since i only take cases that give sync disks for awhile
as for weapons i just kind of do whatever, i've never been using the weapons anyways, mainly a barge, handcuff or throw chair type of combatant
