Let's be honest. You can't call yourself a private gumshoe simulator without having the option to rent or purchase your own office for detective work. How are you going to get the classic "dame walks into my office" hook without a gloomy private office to be sitting around and hiding your drinking problem within it?
Corporate offices are well and good but we ought to have some work spaces for private consultation as well.
Additional ideas: The option to hire a secretary that answers your calls and receives mail from you. Or at least a voicemail machine for missed calls.
