oh no, the murder victim was my friend / oh no, the murderer is my friend
Love this idea. Would be so neat to head to the same diner every morning for a cup of coffee just to have a chat with my friend Bill. Would be a great opportunity to make cases more personal as well in case a killer decided to off your friend.
Yeah like you could decide whether to arrest them or cover it up
+1, this would be great.
Or imagine making friends with the local enforcers so they will let you into crime scenes, or buddying up to the security guard or janitor in a building to get access to tenant records and cams in the control room.
"Usually I don't allow this, but since it's you we can bend the rules this once"
☝️ HUGE YES
Buddy up with the pawn shop employee and they might let you in on some rare goods or drop the name of someone who pawned off an item that was stolen from a client.
To bump this old request I’ll piggy back
- NPC Interaction Mechanics:
- Players can talk to NPCs and give them gifts to increase comfort and familiarity.
- Higher comfort levels unlock new dialogue options and deepen relationships.
- Friendship Development:
- NPC friends offer more personal conversations (e.g., life updates, personal struggles).
- Players can stage "hangouts" with friends:
- Visit their place or invite them over.
- Activities include having a beer, watching a game, etc.
- Romantic Relationships:
- Strong friendships may evolve into romantic partnerships.
- Romantic interactions replace hangouts with dates.
- Partners can eventually move in with the player
- Occasionally, a close friend or partner may be murdered
Great if there were emotional depth, realism, and meaningful connections with npcs
add a setting for gay or lesbian typa stuff so your bsf crush on u randomly
❌
tf does that mean
i mean, adding romance probably wouldnt be the best idea in general
i would like friendship though
i feel like your partner would just become a companion or something just like all the other games that add romance options
Mmm true but I just meant IF they add that
yeah i mean
