#Employee profile lists passcode but doesn't dynamically link

sounds like a two step process.. probably on the first step it makes a link to their person, second go would give you more info
that's how the board currently collates it from the outside looking in
Huh. That's odd. I could've sworn I'd gotten it to merge with the person's info by viewing their cruncher profile.
one for the devs to fix but a mod could read you're at a computer and get all it's info and feed you that maybe, they're still having trouble with basic interactables and stuff still... what's it been not even 3 weeks released?
Kagus me too, but he's probably right, maybe an oversight by cole because normally you might search around awhile, checking things twice, I can imagine him doing this on purpose while testing to simulate what a player does and then not notice it took a couple times
I find it amazing there have been like 70 suggestions in a few days... one thing if people are reading this is give the dev his vacation, 3 months from now the entire game will have an additional unity versed dev and cole who spent over 7 years on this working to improve what we have... it literally takes this long to get features working... he's resurrected a nearly dead genre here... give it some time
they've only just begun to optimize and clean it up
for sure, and fair. Still, the influx of feedback is probably great for building a new checklist
It does merge the info.
Before and after opening cruncher profile:
weird. I'll have to double check that then. I've had to manually enter the code somewhere every time.
There's enough of a categorical difference between "code to get into their office", "code to login via cruncher" and "code to open safe they own" that even if you have the info associated with their profile, it won't automatically think to plug that into the given objects. Sometimes it will though. It's... A bit funky at times.
Objects that are technically under their control may not necessarily be marked as associated with them for the purposes of autofilling the code attached to their profile. But that doesn't mean you don't have the necessary information.
Like, a safe in the corner of the study may not automatically get filled in just because you checked their login info on the cruncher. After all, that could be anybody's safe! ...even if they're the only person living in the apartment.
No, I mean I've had to manually enter it and then I get the link for "person's personal code"
And it then autofills for either crunchers or work lockers
I very much agree that it needs to automatically link that data. It's dumb that we can get their code but it's not "registered" until we actually use it. We will SEE the code, however you have to have manually used it once for the game to "register" it for auto-use.
Same. If I see their code on their cruncher, it will show the code in their profile. But it's not "registered" yet until I manually use it myself. Which seems needless.
I also have the issue with their address not being clickable in their profile, even though you know it. If you go to their profile connections, it won't list the address until you've specifically done something to verify their address (like get their rental agreement), even though you see the address from say their work profile.
