It'd be really cool if we could, ourselves, play as the murder. We scope out a target, maybe as a hitman style killer, and then do it whilst trying to leave as little blood as possible. Then, likewise, an investigator will attempt to track us down, while we try and throw them off. Obviously it's a big project to work on, but it'd be a very cool potential in the far future of the game.

Maybe replacing the investigation of the murder as it is now with an investigation into who your own PI is? So you can take them out if you feel you need to.
Could even pave the way for a coop mode? 👀
Friend 1 commits the murder, friend 2 tries to figure out friend 1's profile and tie them to the murder as it is now. First one to expose the other's true identity and kill/arrest them wins?
