This has probably been suggested before, but I'll put it here anyway: I think it would enhance the experience to be able to add supporting evidence to the report, e.g. a CCTV still that shows them outside the victim's apartment around the time they were murdered (rather than just providing you a lead.) You could piece together motives, a timeline, etc.

There is also ABSOLUTELY 0 POINT in having this.
Why waste time getting extra information?
Aslong as you have all the information filled in, you're getting maximum pay.
It wouldn't make ANY sense for them to pay you more for EXTRA information pointing towards the killer that they ALREADY know because you filled in the name
