A dialogue option when you speak to someone at work. Something along the lines of "I'd like to have a word with [Name]. The employee would either go to that NPC and lead them back to you, ask you for a bribe, or refuse to do it. The NPC you've asked to speak to might also be able to refuse?

This would overlap with the function of bribing for a guest pass. I like the idea, but something else may need to be moved around.

30c for a guest pass already does it like wabbid said, but if the feature changes then your suggestion would be nice to have

If this is added the guest pass still has more power then just asking to talk to someone since you have the ability to go in and look around even if said person isn't there

#

so having both options could still be good

Thing is, if you know which employee you want to talk to, you can already do this by visiting them at their home, or by calling them if you have their number. Presently, this feature would be redundant IMO, largely because of the guest pass.

redundant features are okay in my book, especially for an immersive sim.

If the dialog menu doesn't get cluttered by other things, it wouldn't be the worst thing to have. And if how guest passes work changes then this is something worth looking at. I think it's a thing to keep in mind for sure.

I mean, there's an option now to pay for door codes, but those are pretty much always super easy to find.

Redundant choices for alternate paths would be good as things get overhauled like getting access to door codes and and guest passes

Personally I think the idea of paying someone $20 to have free reign over the office for an hour isn't the best way to handle it

#

But you're right, as of now it would be redundant

It shouldn't even be a guest pass. It should be bribing an employee to turn the security off on their way out that night or something along those lines

As long as it doesn't cost peanuts

Maybe the building janitor even

Turning off the security for the night, slipping you a key, something like that. The lower level the employee, the more likely they'll accept (but it'll still be expensive) because they need the money more
