#Database Sorting

Databases as they are now are great tools for investigating, some would say too powerful based on how much information they can provide, however for some jobs they’re still lacking. I have some suggestions for reworking how they are displayed.

Improvements:

  1. Show the information on screen so that you don’t have to print out each entry to view it.

  2. An ability to sort civilians by a variety of factors.

With improvements like these I do believe there should be balances to make it harder to access information, which I do have a couple ideas for as well.

Balances:

  1. Separate Ward and government databases, so they have different info on residents, such as government databases having a civilian’s address, occupation, and income on hand; meanwhile, wards would have height, weight, and blood type.

  2. Make accessing government/ ward databases in illegal action even if they’re in a public area. Makes it so you have to be a little more careful around those public computers.

  3. The codes could change on a regular basis, I would suggest this for whoever has an account on the computer, especially if they player is caught accessing the computer/database.

I love the third point. Codebreakers would trivialize it (especially considering they are sold in the same building) but it's a step in the right direction.
