Say it's pride month. I know a ton of people that change their pfps ー even if they're not LGBT ー to include LGBT pride. Will these people get banned or punished for this? I mean it's clearly against the rules: it's sexual orientation and it's in your pfp.
Say 'fiery discussions' arise from the aforementioned event of people changing their pfp to include LGBT pride, who is to be punished? Do the people with the LGBT pride pfps get punished for these 'heated discussions'? Does everyone get punished? Does nobody get punished?
I like the game, but this wording can have an insane amount of interpretations. Beside their gameplay, I like MMOs because of their community. If the community I'm in isn't LGBT friendly I can't enjoy the game ー because for me, the community is the game (when it's an MMO like this one).

Personally I'm a lesbian so the idea of getting ban for a pride flag would be ridiculous

That's how the rules are currently written, which is why I wish the moderation team to give some clarification

Basically, this isn't a LGBT server, it's a BitCraft server.
Focussed on Bitcraft and Bitcraft related things.
There's also a very distinct difference between having your pfp be one, and repeatedly saying "I'm this and that".
I'd say inciting fiery talk would revolve around making racist,sexist or otherwise inappropriate topics.

I feel as though this issue arose due to a misunderstanding of the rules as written, not necessarily the rules themselves, as everyone else I've seen has read that and understood it as we have, at least to a point to not bring it up.
