Thought I'd make a thread separate from the flood of messages that is general.

The game is procedurally generated so something tells me they are going to go the way of minecraft and have the world be "infinite" in size and not globular.

#

I'm curious to see what kind of fantasy world generation the game will have especially the buggy kind the further out one goes.

#

I'm not sure how players will spawn in the world or the amount of new players that join when the game releases, but it'll be in everyone's best interest to travel as far as possible to grab land and resources to jump start their own kingdom. Personally I'm going to endlessly travel West to test the limits of the game and get away from the politics that WILL happen. Plus, it'll help others if I chart important locations of use.

I plan to try and chart what I can.

I guess I'll head East-ish maybe

If the game does have a kind of border what will it be? Will it be a massive mountain, a cut off to the void, an invisible border, or will the world be globular?

#

The speculation is the best part of any game/movie.

This is true

I'm really curious how they are going to handle player spawning so it doesn't look like a 2B2T. Maybe players spawn within multiple certain neutral areas that are faraway from each other.

When things start to settle down and kingdoms have formed. I think the biggest thing travelers, merchants, and everyone will have to worry about is bandits. Starting off we'll all be one the same page and look out for each other just to survive, but there will be a point when things become more complicated due to discontent. Forming bonds at the start will be invaluable.
