  • claim land on both sides of the river
  • build a stockpile
  • load whatever resources you want into the stockpile
  • move the stockpile (shift right click + move) from one side of the river to the other
  • same principle applies to storage chests

Please don't remove this. It's a feature, not a bug

Have cart on one side, summon boat, move some cargo, summon personal cache/stand on other shore, pack up cargo, make additional rounds, despawn cart, make last ship round. Despawn ship, summon cart, move the cargo back in the cart, despawn cache/stand and continue journey. You can cross most terrain in this way.

yeah but thats cumbersome, loading and moving a chest or stockpile across the river takes 30s tops
