Hello,
My feedback may come across more as a critique, and I understand that. However, aside from the Fishing and Hunting professions, this game is basically an idle experience where you spend the majority of your time just watching a progress bar move back and forth — over and over again.
When focusing on one or two professions that are not (Fishing, hunting), you'll often find yourself sitting for hours just crafting or gathering materials. In my opinion, at least 80–90% of the gameplay consists of staring at a progress bar at your base or at the wildness — one that doesn’t even tell you how long the task will take, so you have to calculate it yourself.
Honestly, this may come down to personal taste. If you enjoy watching a 50K+ Effort crafting progress bar for hours and consider that fun, then this game might be for you. But I believe most people would agree that it becomes tedious quickly and doesn’t reflect the value of a $30 game — especially when so much of the experience is spent AFK crafting.
I love grinding game like Albion and OSRS, but this mostly equates to being AFK, with few options for multi-tasking.
This post isn’t meant to hate on the game — I’m just being honest about its current state. Look, I have over 90 hours in the game, and I’m pretty sure 70 of those were spent just crafting something, and the other 20 were spent hitting rocks and running around.
