Me and some of the officers realized that you can't see a log of what withdrawals or transactions occur in one's settlement treasury.

I hope I don't need to go into detail into why this will be an issue in a game which has entire systems revolving around long term commerce and economy.

100% agreed, I personally brought this up to the dev team, and this is something they are looking to add!

I know there are people working on tools using SpacetimeDB to try and get this kind of information. But yes, it is definitely something that would make shared storage feel better. Interactions between players are meant to be about as trustless as possible. And while the Settlement layer of gameplay is meant to involve some trust, for now the storage is just either fully on, so full trust, or fully off so there is no access. There are clearly "levels of trust" with the Officer role, and the building permission, storage permission.
But I think we need both more levels of trust for storage permission, and a way to see clear logs of what's been moving around. And not just to prevent theft, but also to coordinate as a group, to keep track of who's bringing what into the claim, and who is producing what inside the claim.

It could also be interesting to have separate permissions to add to a storage and to draw from a storage - ideally on a separate level for different storages.
If keeping permissions global for the settlement, the logging would be very welcome indeed

Agree to the log. While on the topic of treasury: It would be nice for everyone to pay into it as well!

devs look at Foxhole storage system. within a stockpile anyone can create a substockpile and share a password to access it. Stockpiles can be private or public or mixed (public to see and contribute but private to withdraw). Easier to post a password on DC channel than manage permissions per person. Each access is logged and shown. <- some ideas
