with the pcs being automata i suddenly thought why be limited by the human form? we have masks, and a bunch of unique looking npcs, so why not a lizardman automata?

what ive done is forced grok to make a simple looking base lizardman image and then edited/filled in to make it more smooth/golem-ish. ill post updates if i can make a refined version with Ai later on, but this is where i start normally.

current progress. I need to go through and completely redraw the claws and feet i think. then trace out more dark lines to get it more golem/robot-esque.

I spent the morning rescaling and enhancing the image until i had much higher clarity of lines as the above is pretty blurry in places. then I took claws that looked good and copy-paste-resized them to fully finish the hands. afterwards I went on to reshading all of the orange highlights with a shade of white to give it that bright yellowish glow on the edges. afterwards i realized the runic highlights felt a bit flat, so i went ahead and retraced them again with an outline of black.

This is the finished piece. Hope you like it.
